Barley's Biscuit: Oh, Oh, No... the Boat.

£7.99

Barley, the clever Border-Collie dog, his nephew Basil and their human friend Mick are excited to visit Blists Hill Victorian Town in Ironbridge nestled amongst the Shropshire countryside. Two children wave from a horse-drawn carriage laughing and giggling, as they see the dogs shy away from a big steam-powered machine, rolling scarily around the cobbled streets of the town.

Mick visits the open air play going on that day giving a chance for the two dogs to visit the funfair. Dodging in and out of the coconut-shy and the brightly coloured carousel spinning round, Barley stops to watch the big swing-boats.

One of the swing-boats, carrying the two children they saw earlier, develops a problem with the structure that could crash if not fixed. Barley has to think quickly of a way to remove the danger. A quick game of ‘fetch’ with Basil might do the trick…
